School policies on equipment
Parents have continual concerns about their children carrying school equipment on their person and or keeping their equipment inside locker containers', at anyone time.
The issues raised, are that some items asked of parents, can cause self harm to their own children and or harm to others' , in school and or out of school premises'.
Older children are also extreme opportunists, causing parents to pay up several times during one year.
Parents have stated that, school items should be allocated to each child per class, depending on what is being taught at the time.
That each table should be allocated a number with a prescribed number of non removable items'. Checks should be made at the beginning of the lesson, at the end of the lessons and classrooms should be locked between lessons, when tutors are absent from the rooms themselves'.
That items are only to be replaced when necessary.
