Home-Work
Sometimes after school me and my sister get a set of work that's issued from school, this is known as home -work, we have to do this at home, this often consists of English writing and story subjects, home - work is issued on some days', and not on others'.
Not all home-work is writing though, some home-work, is art and creative - studies', me and my sister enjoy this more then other subjects like, maths and sciences', though these subjects can be fun sometimes'.
I enjoy the days that I don't have home-work, because I can do other things', like playing outside with my friends', or taking a trip to the local leisure centre, going out with my Dad or just watching television at home, where I can have some time to relax and cool down after a long day at school.
I told mum that I don't always enjoy home-work, and sometimes' I feel grumpy when the school issue it.
Mum told me that home-work is issued to help me, to help me grow and develop into a young independent person, who can manage life skills', and that I should be grateful that I have parents who help me to expand and excel in all study areas of school life.
When mum explains things to me, sometimes I hold my breath and count to ten, half listening and half playing with ideas about what I did at school with my friends' that day, mum say's she should have my full attention all the time, especially when it comes to studying.
Creative Studies
I enjoy this most of the time, and its my favourite kind of home-work. Mum has lots of reading materials', pencils', pens', art brushes, glue sticks and scissors'.
I think mum likes the creative subjects too.
